So you want to know more about your teacher...

I grew up in the Schaumburg area and am a 1990 graduate of Schaumburg HS!

I spent the next four years at St. Norbert College right outside of Green Bay, WI.  There I earned my BA with a major in mathematics and no I did not become a Packer fan!  I began my teaching career at Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, IL.  During my time at Prospect I was a math team coach, as well as a volleyball and basketball coach.  I was at Prospect for twelve years before I took some time off to be at home with my kids.  I was hired at Palatine High School in 2010 as a TA and was offered a full time teaching position the following year.  I am thrilled to be teaching math again and even more excited about being here at Palatine.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years this summer and we have three beautiful children.  In my free time,  I enjoy reading, walking, biking, or skiing.  Our family loves to be outdoors, and one of our favortie places to be is on a beach in Michigan!

I look forward to getting to know each of my students this year; your likes and dislikes,  your interests and passions, and even your family.
